Walking In Grace

God always thinks with Grace. Whether He is dealing with nations or individuals, or He is exercising His divine justice, wrath, love, or mercy, in whatever dispensation or time frame, at all times and in all circumstances, the Grace of God influences His thoughts and actions.

Seeing that we could not meet His standards, He sent His Son to bear our penalty so that we "might be made the righteousness of God in Him". (2 Cor. 5:21)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why is Grace so important to the Christian?
1. Grace is the most important single concept in the Word of God. Salvation is "by Grace through faith", and the Christian way of life functions entirely on Grace principles.
2. Grace provides the foundational structure for all Bible study. Eph.2
3. Knowledge of Grace principles gives believers great knowledge and confidence in God's Plan, His provisions, His blessings.
4. The doctrine of Grace gives believers confidence in witnessing and teaching, both for evangelism and the Christian way of life, Grace give Christan insight into the workings of society and God's actual intentions regarding the future.
5. Grace convinces believers that human righteousness is completely out of the picture.
6. Through Grace, believers become conduits of grace to society. Families become Grace families and churches become Grace churches.
God's Operating Principle
What is God's Operating Principle?
Grace!!!! Ephesians 2: 4-7
He is rich in mercy and He has great love. Man, on the other hand, is described as "dead". Man has the deepest need; God has the greatest resources. And God has a plan for linking our need to His resources (Eph. 2:5)
Romans 4:4 The Grace Principle v/s The Debt (Merit) Plan
Romans 4:13-16 No compromise between Grace and Debt......
Grace is the word used in the Bible to refer to all that God is free to do for mankind because of the Lord Jesus Christ's sacrifice for our sins, the work done for us on the cross. Grace means that God has done the work and God receives the "credit"...the glory. Man, who is unable to produce acceptable works, receives the free benefits of God's work. Grace means that man has received from God that which he has not earned or deserved; because nothing that we are and nothing that we have is sufficient to qualify us for any of what the Lord gives to us or does for us.
The Four Categories of Grace
COMMON GRACE: Grace which is common to all mankind, saved or unsaved, such as the rain which falls on the just and unjust.
Matthew 5: 5:43-48
2 Peter 3:9
SAVING GRACE: The gift of God, lest any man should boast, namely, Grace applied to the lost sinner.
Ephesians 1:1-9
Roman 3:24
Acts 4:12
LIVING GRACE: The provision of God the Father for the needs of the believer for the rest of his lifetime. God provides everything that is needed for a prosperous, happy life for any believer who has "tasted grace" and and avails himself of "more grace".
1 Peter 2:2-3
2 Peter 3:18
Isa. 30:18-19
Romans 5:20
2 Cor. 12:9,10
James 4:6,7
DYING GRACE: is for the Christian who is in the dying stage of life.
PS. 23:4
EXAMPLES OF GOD'S GRACE PROVISION FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFE:
GRACE:
1. God's acceptance
2. Confidence in God's plan
3. Prayer
4. Daily provision
5. Suffering
6. God's patience with us
7. Releasing the power of God
8. Victory over sin
9. Spiritual growth
10. Spiritual gifts
11. Stability
12. Becoming gracious
13. Method of living
15. Production of divine good
SURPASSING GRACE: The grace of God in eternity; what we will receive from God because of Salvation; what we will receive from God as crowns or rewards to be laid at the feet of Christ.
John 14:13
James 1:12
Rev. 21:4
Walking In Grace...
This is our first show! I thank you so much for joining us today. On today's show, we discussed the real meaning of GRACE. We learned that Grace is God's unmerited favor. It is kindness that we do not deserve. There is nothing we have done, nor can we earn this kind of favor. It is totally a gift from God. Grace is a divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or rebirth ; a virtue that only comes from God. It is sanctification through divine favor.
Neat Acronym:
G-God's
R-Riches
A-At
C-Christ
E-Expense
It is by GRACE you were saved through faith, and not of yourself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Can we fall from GRACE?

Yes!
Galatians 5:4
Ye are fallen from Grace.

Some do not believe that this scripture is as it says. They interpret it to mean that the people are fallen away from the message of grace. I choose to believe exactly as the Bible says....and that is that WE CAN FALL FROM GRACE. With this known, we can delve into the next show, "Can you lose your salvation?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What can we do for our loved ones who have fallen away from Christ? Have they fallen from GRACE?
The first question can be answered in one word: PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
We must pray for our loved ones. We must pray specifically for them. We must petition God to intercede on their behalf.
Many of the fallen do not understand how severe the fall can be. Therefore, their eyes may be shut from seeing the real problem or issue.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Steps to take in prayer for your fallen loved one:

1. Petition God with a confession of Faith in God's help your loved one repent and come back to
the Lord with a clean heart. (Grace is encountered)
2. Repeat Scripture 1 John 5:14, 15
3. I realize I am not in a battle with flesh and blood, but contending against demonic powers, and wicked spirits in the heavenly sphere, who are trying to influence and control the person I am praying for.

4. Understand and confess Luke 10:19
I give you authority and power over all the power of the enemy and so nothing shall in any
way harm me.
5. Claim and profess Matthew 18:18
Whatever I bind on earth is bound in the heavenly realm, and whatever I loose on earth is
loosed in the heavenly realm.

NEXT:

Pray a binding prayer.......

Confess and pray

Ephesians 1:18
Luke 24:31,45
Matthew 9:37,38
Mark 11:24
Jeremiah 1:12
Isaiah 55:11

Finish the prayer with :

I ask all this, Father God, in the holy name of Jesus. And I cover myself, my household, all my family, extended family, and all loved ones with the blood of Jesus, asking you to bless and strengthen us with your wisdom, Holy Spirit, salvation, and deliverance. Amen.
